8052 8′ 5wt – Standard Trout model
Fast, light and progressive. The tip to mid flex profile of this taper combined with the speed of recovery and excellent transfer of load to the butt section feels extremely modern and very intuitive for all anglers to cast. I enjoy this rod best with some of the current crop of modern weight forward 5 weight lines available to really take advantage of the action of the taper with a dry fly and a long leader. I feel that this taper has exceptional long casting and loop control qualities in the hands of a seasoned caster. A near perfect trout rod .
